Production Alert - August 10, 2001

COPS ASK EIDC FOR HELP; NEWLY RENOVATED, HISTORIC
NORTHEAST POLICE STATION AVAILABLE FOR FILMING

The Los Angeles Police Historical Society is asking EIDC to help get the word
about its newly renovated Northeast Police Station located at 6045 York
Boulevard in Highland Park.

The facility, which still operates as a functioning police sub-station, has
authentic jail cells, interrogation rooms, a squad room and plenty of space
available for production offices. It also has on-site parking.

City officials requested EIDC, which works closely with the Los Angeles Police
Department, to help show the facility and encourage its use by the filming
community.

All proceeds from the use of Northeast Police Station benefits the Los Angeles
Police Historical Society and the continued maintenance of the facility.

Hi Locolisters,

I just got back from three weeks in Orange County; 5 cities, driving shots,
company moves, etc. No problems to speak of, but a little heads up on the
OC Thomas Brothers Guide. As you are probably aware, the new I-5 has
changed the world around it and several other major arteries are following
suit. Do not use a pre-2000 TBG, as it will be useless around many of the
freeways. I do own a post-2000 TBG but used an older model to jog my memory
and got burned. Learn from my mistake.

Good Luck,
Dennis Morley
