A Beautiful Day Rainforest Spa Retreat is an excellent tropical location setting. Only 45 minutes to the active Kilauea volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, this lush property is graced with huge magnificent trees and tropical plants. Located in Keaau, conveniently located between Hilo and Pahoa, with nearby black sand beaches, warm ponds, waterfalls, hiking trails and rugged pristine coastline.
Cast and crew can enjoy seclusion and privacy in the guest cottage with a private deck overlooking the sacred mountain, Mauna Kea, the highest peak in the state of Hawaii. There is also a smaller cabin, an upstairs suite, camping areas and even a treehouse in a banyan tree.
Half of the property is landscaped, and the other half is wild, with pahoehoe lava flows, wild orchids and ferns, vines, native ohia trees (some are hundreds of years old) and even herds of wild pigs from time to time. It would be an extraordinary place to shoot any project, seclusion and privacy.
My property can comfortably sleep eight guests, and there are many nearby accommodations available off-property. I will be happy to make additional arrangements to fit your needs..
Also available on the property are professional Eco-Spa packages which include hydrotherapy, salt scrubs, Hawaiian Bodywraps and massage with warm stones. Spa packages and catering services are available for an additional cost.
