Created and produced all aspects of multi-day outdoor music festivals and concerts.Budgets for events ranged as high as $500,000 and included staffs of upward to 350 paid and volunteer positions. I worked closely with public and commercial radio stations doing interviews, promotions, commercials etc.. I was also emce of the shows. I was responsible for creating venues, negotiating with talent agents and managers, budgeting, contracts, accounting, advertising/promotion, securing permits, staff, sponsors, etc.. Acts have included: Willie Nelson, Blues Traveler, James Brown, Widespread Panic, String Cheese Incident, Jackson Browne, Ziggy Marley, Primus, Jimmy Cliff, Bunny Wailer, George Clinton, Robert Cray, Pennywise, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Stephen Stills, David Lindley, Beenie Man, Manu DiBango, John Trudell, Steel Pulse, and many more.
