Rickwood Field in Birmingham Alabama is the oldest baseball park in America. It has been the site for COBB and Soul of the Game. It is virtually unchanged since 1910. Incredible for vintage baseball and period settings. Great film city. City and film commission aggressive and open and friendly.
All location fees/ set funds go to nonprofit effort to maintain park. Park on National Historic Register. Win win.
